Robbert-jan Nuis was born
in Poortugaal, The Netherlands.
From there his family
moved to Germany and back to Holland and he gained a lot of experience in moving, adapting to new
surroundings and making the best of new situations.
In 1985 the family moved to California, USA
where Robbert went to High school. After high school he went to
college in Wyoming and received a degree in Automotive Business management.
In 1992 Robbert was
drafted by the Dutch Army and he volunteered to serve his time as a Peace Officer for The United Nations
in former Yugoslavia.
The experience with
The United Nations changed his view of the world drastically and he
became even more interested in Human Behavior.
He started a new
phase
in his life with interests in: Yoga, Meditation, Spirituality,
Hypnosis, NLP, Social Work, Cooking, Traveling, Self-Help meetings and
Seminars, Communication, Energy work, Massage and Outdoor activities.
In recent years he has turned Expatriate
Counseling into a franchise concept giving more people the opportunity
to have their own practice and help people.
